Fry Me to the Moon

Bonjour,

A thousand apologies to Frank Sinatra, but I had to make my own rendition of "Fly Me to the Moon". Multi-tasking in the kitchen is always fun, especially when I get to belt out a song while stirring up the saucepan.

Fry me to the moon/
Let me eat with all my heart/
Let me see what chicken tastes like/
At home and out about/
In other words,hold the spoon/
In other words, I love food

A humble menu today: cottage fried rice, fried chicken, fried eggs;and add in some fried anchovies cooked with peanuts. Onion and garlic are essential to a lot of delicacies, but I never came to like them at their raw state;not until now.

It was Chibi's dance day-from Dirty Dancing to Take the Lead. Dancing is actually a great workout; I get to enjoy doing what I'm passionate about, and I get to burn off those added creamy calories.I'm definitely pumped up for the new semester (Hip hop class, here I come~).

Interruption occurred while I was heating things up in the kitchen-blame it on Nadal. Yes,the ultimate Rafael Nadal. He won,of course. But I was more than delighted to see his cute smile after he had won the match point. A step closer to capturing his career slam.Vamos Rafa! (Alright,my fan-girl mode shall stop here).

Note: Chibi is adapting to the sharpers tools in the kitchen. Cooking is all tough love.

Lyric of the day:
The thought of it makes my heart flutter/
I'll try to do everything once a day with you...
You're a real treasure to me/
Thank you for coming to me...
