A chicken soup for the tender heart

Bonjour,

I'm back in the kitchen~! The stove has been warming up a lot ever since Eid,and I'm on my way to gaining a few more rice cakes pounds. I had certainly enjoyed the 'Open Houses' over the past two weekends. Not only was I overwhelmed by the invitations; I think my petit tummy had been having trouble taking in all the sweets and spices. Then again,it's only a 'few' days long.

In Syawal, I usually do the 'puasa enam' with my parents. It's either papa-chibi days or mama-chibi days. Most of the time though,it's the three bears' days (papa, mama,et moi). It's manageable at this point, because my tummy's still in the fasting mode;and I'm determined to finish it up by this Saturday. Bonne chance for the others who would be doing the same.

A lot had happened within the past two weeks since Eid. I learned more about people in general: how to differentiate close friends, just friends, and acquaintances. There is certainly a thin line between each 'category',but I'm sure to set them apart. As for frenemies,I'll keep them at bay.

Note: Chibi enjoyed phone conversations with her parents and little brother for the past few days. Chibi discovered cute,mini-cinnamon muffins.

Lyric of the day:

And now like a dream my heart/
has gradually stopped by your side...
And now like breathing/
if you were to always rest by my side...
