A 3-in-1 instant cup of love

Bonjour,

As early as 7:49am, I received another surprise call from my loved ones. Ah~that made my day already. I had a quick chat with my dad before going back to snooze for a couple of hours.

In the tender rain I walked/
Step after step I took/
The fresh scent of air I breathed/
The teardrops of rain I weeped...

I opted not to take the bus today, since the mall is really close from home. Even better, the cool and calm weather gave me a reason to walk along the quiet streets of Ottawa. How peaceful I felt within 20 minutes. Headed to the stores, and bought what I needed to buy;not what I wanted to. "Rideau Shopping List" was completed successfully, but I had to keep 1 item in reserve for the next list. Chibi needs a towel hanger.

For the first time in weeks, I braved myself to put on some "Aidilfitri" music on the stereo. Instantly,my heart sank. My eyes got teary, but I managed to fight the urge to cry. Instead,I went to the kitchen and chopped the onions. Outside, the rain hasn't stopped. "Aidilfitri" music+chopping onions+rain outside = perfect solemn mood. BUT,the tears didn't push through after all; I've decided to save the "tears stock" for the actual Hari Raya.

I called up my parents back home, and out of nowhere, I felt like I was on Chibi's Cloud 9. I snatched some father-daughter chat time before he left for work. Then, I received cooking tips from my beloved grandma;she had wished to be here to taste all the delicacies that I have cooked. I miss the tea times we had when I was back home. Last, but not least, was the lady of the house-my mom. She,too, shared some cooking tips that could come in handy for me. I especially love it when my parents say "take care adik".

Note: Chibi wants to make kimchi and kimchi chigae to revive beautiful memories. Chibi has yet to find the dust scoop.

Lyric of the day:
You couldn't say anything in front of me/
I'm dumfounded...
It seems like the first time/
You've seen a girl like me...
